This RFP is an invitation by the University of Guelph to prospective Proponents to submit non-binding proposals for the provision of a Micro-Mentorship Solution as further described in the RFP. The University of Guelph is seeking to expand opportunities for students, alumni and other members of the University community to access mentorship, professional insight and alumni expertise in flexible and scalable ways. Alumni Affairs and Development is developing Ask A Gryphon, a micromentorship initiative designed to connect individuals seeking advice or insight with alumni who have relevant experience and expertise. Unlike traditional mentorship programs that may require a significant time commitment or ongoing mentor-mentee relationship, Ask A Gryphon is intended to support low-barrier, question-based and episodic interactions that make it easy for alumni to contribute their knowledge and for participants to access the University's alumni network. The University therefore wishes to procure a single configurable platform capable of supporting both traditional mentorship and micromentorship models while minimizing participant friction and ongoing administrative effort. The successful proponent is expected to deliver: • Licensing for a scalable, browser-based Micro-Mentorship solution for a mentorship program with multiple potential audiences and individual mentorship interactions • Professional services required to implement the platform, including setup, configuration, data migration, integrations and testing; • Ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the software application and any additional modules, updates and patches installed for the term of the agreement • User training This bid is researched and provided for information purposes only .
